FindTIME, Inc. (“FindTIME,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) builds tools designed to help people recognize useful openings in their day and use those moments for things that matter to them.

This Privacy Policy explains what information FindTIME processes, what information may be sent to our service providers, what remains on your device, how we use information, and the choices available to you.

Information We Collect

Account Information

FindTIME supports Sign in with Apple and guest accounts.

When you use FindTIME, an account identifier is created through our authentication provider so your pilot activity can be associated with your account and protected from access by other users.

If you use Sign in with Apple, Apple may provide a name during your initial authorization.

If available, FindTIME may use that name to pre-fill the optional name you would like FindTIME to call you.

The name you choose for FindTIME to call you is stored locally on your device and is not uploaded to FindTIME’s backend.

FindTIME does not request your email address as part of the current pilot experience.

Our authentication and backend service providers may automatically process limited technical and security information, such as IP address, user agent, authentication events, request metadata, and timestamps, for purposes such as authentication, security, fraud prevention, diagnostics, and service reliability.
 

Pilot Profile and Usage Information

FindTIME collects limited information to operate the pilot, understand how the product is being used, and evaluate whether FindTIME helps people make meaningful use of available time.

This may include:

• selected focus areas and intentions;

• selected friction or barriers;

• recognition methods you choose to configure;

• pilot and onboarding timestamps;

• recommendations shown to you;

• whether you accept, dismiss, replace, or start a recommendation;

• recommendation and activity identifiers;

• the amount of time available and recommended;

• activity start, progress, and completion information;

• elapsed activity duration;

• usefulness feedback;

• whether an activity helped you do something you otherwise may not have done;

• limited app interaction and app-version information; and

• other structured pilot measurement information.

This information may be associated with your authenticated FindTIME account and pilot participant identifiers.

FindTIME does not use this information for third-party advertising or cross-company tracking.

Information That Stays on Your Device
 

FindTIME is designed so that several types of personal context are processed locally rather than uploaded to our backend.

Information that currently remains local to your device includes:

• the name you choose for FindTIME to call you;

• any available Sign in with Apple name used to prefill that preference;

• free-text intention, meaning, and personalization wording;

• written reflections;

• the calendars you select for FindTIME;

• raw Calendar event information;

• Screen Time app and app-group selections;

• detailed Scroll Check-In configuration;

• exact Opportunity Window schedules;

• raw location observations;

• raw weather information; and

• the full local activity/event log outside the limited measurement events sent to our backend.

Some derived information may be collected without uploading the underlying private data.

For example, FindTIME may record that a recommendation originated from a Calendar Opening, Scroll Check-In, or Opportunity Window, along with information such as the amount of available time, without uploading the underlying Calendar event, Screen Time selection, or exact Opportunity Window schedule.

Calendar

If you enable Calendar Openings, FindTIME asks Apple for Calendar access and allows you to choose which calendars FindTIME may use.

FindTIME uses limited Calendar information, such as event timing and whether time is marked busy or unavailable, to look for useful openings in your schedule.

FindTIME does not create, edit, or delete Calendar events.

FindTIME does not save or upload Calendar event titles, notes, locations, or attendee details to its backend.

The identifiers for the calendars you select remain stored locally on your device.

Screen Time and Scroll Check-In

If you enable Scroll Check-In, FindTIME uses Apple’s Screen Time and Family Controls technologies.

You choose the apps or app groups where a FindTIME check-in may be useful. Apple provides privacy-preserving identifiers representing those selections.

Your selected apps, app groups, and Screen Time tokens remain on your device and are not uploaded to FindTIME’s backend.

FindTIME does not use Scroll Check-In to block the apps you select.

FindTIME may collect derived information indicating that a recommendation or activity resulted from a Scroll Check-In.

Location and Weather

If you enable Location & Weather, FindTIME requests access to your location only while you are using the app.

Approximate location is sufficient.

FindTIME does not continuously track your location in the background and does not upload your raw latitude or longitude to its backend.

Your location may be provided to Apple Weather services to retrieve current weather conditions.

FindTIME can use those conditions locally to help determine whether certain recommendations fit your current circumstances.

Raw coordinates and raw weather information are not stored in FindTIME’s backend.

A recommendation selected partly because of local conditions may still appear in ordinary product measurement, but the underlying location or weather data is not included.

Opportunity Windows and Notifications

If you enable Opportunity Windows, you may select recurring times when a FindTIME check-in would be useful.

Your exact Opportunity Window schedule remains stored locally on your device and is not uploaded to FindTIME’s backend.

FindTIME may collect derived information indicating that a recommendation or activity originated from an Opportunity Window.

If you allow notifications, FindTIME may use local notifications to support features such as Opportunity Windows and Scroll Check-In.

You can change notification permissions through iOS Settings and change FindTIME recognition settings inside the app.

How We Use Information

FindTIME uses information collected through the pilot to:

• provide and operate the FindTIME experience;

• authenticate and protect user accounts;

• provide relevant recommendations;

• understand how people interact with FindTIME;

• evaluate whether FindTIME recommendations are useful;

• measure activity progress and outcomes;

• evaluate whether FindTIME helps people take actions they otherwise may not have taken;

• improve FindTIME’s recommendation and product experience;

• analyze pilot engagement and effectiveness; and

• maintain, diagnose, secure, and improve the reliability of the service.

We do not sell personal information.

We do not use collected information for third-party advertising or cross-app or cross-company tracking.

Service Providers

FindTIME uses third-party service providers that are necessary to operate parts of the service.

Where third-party service providers process personal information on FindTIME’s behalf, we require them to process that information only for authorized purposes and to provide protections consistent with this Privacy Policy and applicable privacy requirements.

Supabase

FindTIME uses Supabase for authentication, database infrastructure, and related backend services.

Limited account, profile, activity, pilot measurement, technical, and security information described in this Privacy Policy may be transmitted to and processed using Supabase.

Apple

FindTIME uses Apple technologies and services including, where applicable:

• Sign in with Apple;

• Calendar and EventKit;

• Screen Time and Family Controls;

• Device Activity;

• notifications;

• location services; and

• Apple Weather.

Information processed directly by Apple is also subject to Apple’s applicable privacy policies and terms.

For example, when Location & Weather is enabled, location coordinates may be provided to Apple Weather to obtain current weather conditions even though those coordinates are not uploaded to FindTIME’s own backend.

Data Retention

Remote FindTIME pilot information is retained until the earlier of:

1. deletion of your FindTIME account; or

2. six months after the formal FindTIME pilot ends.

The six-month post-pilot period is FindTIME’s operational retention policy.

Certain service-provider backups, security records, authentication records, technical logs, or legally required records may remain for limited additional periods according to applicable provider policies or legal obligations.

Account and Data Deletion

FindTIME provides account-deletion functionality for user accounts.

When account deletion successfully completes, FindTIME deletes the active FindTIME account and associated profile, moment, and pilot-event records from its backend and clears FindTIME-managed user data stored locally on the device.

Deleting the FindTIME app from your device by itself does not delete your remote FindTIME account or remotely stored pilot information.

If you need assistance deleting your account or data, including if you encounter a problem with the in-app deletion process, contact:

Information that you have manually copied, exported, shared, or stored outside FindTIME is no longer under FindTIME’s control.

Your Choices

You control whether to enable optional FindTIME capabilities such as:

• Calendar Openings;

• Scroll Check-In;

• Opportunity Windows; and

• Location & Weather.

You may withdraw consent for optional recognition capabilities at any time by disabling them within
FindTIME or changing the applicable permission in iOS Settings.

You may change relevant system permissions through iOS Settings.

You may also change FindTIME recognition settings within the app.

The optional name FindTIME uses to address you can be added, changed, or removed from FindTIME Settings.

You may delete your FindTIME account and associated remotely stored pilot information using the account-deletion functionality provided in the app.

Security

FindTIME uses reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information handled through the service.

Access to remotely stored pilot information is authenticated, and FindTIME’s backend is designed so users cannot access other users’ pilot records.

No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children’s Privacy

FindTIME is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If we learn that information from a child under 13 has been collected through FindTIME, we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as FindTIME develops or as our practices, technology, or legal requirements change.

When we make changes, we will update the Effective Date shown at the top of this page.

Material changes may also be communicated through the app or other appropriate means.
